With “the best ingredients to make the best products, the best practices to purchase the best ingredients” as our motto, Mishima Foods seeks the best production site for each ingredient, both at home and abroad.
Since the inception of our company, we also have strictly observed our cardinal procurement rule of not forcing discounts that may lead to quality degradation.
For example, for red perilla and Hiroshima greens, we implement a contract farming program with farmers who have fulfilled our cultivation standards. For seaweed, shiitake mushrooms, lotus roots, and carrots, we ensure a stable supply from overseas while maintaining processing technological exchanges with local farmers. Moreover, we import raw materials not through trading companies, but directly from local farm organizations.
